My name is Ashley and my business is Covalent Pet Care, LLC. I provide a safe, comfortable space for dogs to stay and have 15 years of experience working in traditional boarding kennels and veterinary clinics. I started boarding dogs in my home in 2006 and made it my career in 2013. I am licensed by the state of Colorado and carry my own business insurance for your peace of mind. Caring for pets is my full-time job and their health and safety are my number one priority. I specialize in dogs that do not do well in a traditional boarding environment and provide both physical exercise and mental stimulation to keep them content and engaged. I am always happy to answer any questions about my services.

Having worked in the per boarding industry myself, my standards are nearly impossibly high. Ashley has not only met, but has far exceeded each of them! She is quite literally the only one I trust with my dogs. My heart dog is in his twilight years and I am able to leave him with Ashley and know that she will care for him the same way I do. My younger dog can be a handful and he loves going to stay at Ashley's! She sends daily picture updates and my dogs are always so excited to go stay with her!

My home is state licensed and inspected, and dogs that stay in my home have access to the common spaces as well as a large fenced backyard. If your dog is comfortable being crated, then we will continue that in my home. Dogs are separated from each other when not supervised! When visiting client homes I follow your normal schedule to the best of my ability, and that's something that I chat with clients about at the complimentary meet and greet.

I just require a meet and greet with you and your dog to make sure your dog is social/tolerant of other dogs. There are three children living in my home, ages 7, 13 and 14, so tolerance and general comfort around kids is a must as well.
A typical day
We spend lots of time playing in the yard and snuggling during naptime. I aim to keep the dogs in my care both physically and mentally stimulated while they're here.

Availability
Pet care is my full-time job! I wake up early to feed boarding dogs and get some play time in the yard before I need to leave for my morning visits. Then I'm back home before midday walks. I generally spend the majority of the afternoon in the backyard with the boarding dogs, playing and enjoying our Colorado weather. After I finish my evening visits we do dinner and start to wind down for bed. My goal is to make sure all of the pets in my care are comfortable, relaxed and happy!
