Starting from a young age I was responsible for our family dogs, a German Shepard and a Black Lab, so very comfortable with larger dogs! All of the usual duties (walking, feeding, entertaining, etc.) as well as special attention to our Shepard as he had epilepsy. Due to that, I have experience administering medication, and know how important it may be to certain dogs to keep a close eye. In the last 5 years I have often cared for a family member’s two pekingese mixes, Mason & Lexi. Lexi’s sweet soul often has severe anxiety during thunderstorms as well as having a heart condition, so i’m familiar with careful care of sensitive dogs! Currently, we have a 1 yr old pit mix (Boots 🥹) who while so very sweet, is also very rambunctious! So i’ve had lots of recent practice with quite the strong pup pulling on leash and getting excited at distractions around him while out! Energy is something I don’t shy away from, I know they are just so excited!
