To be honest with you there would be nobody in the world better than Ashley to be a pet sitter she takes care of my dog when I go to the cape all the time she cuts her nails she makes sure she's clean she's just a caring human being when it comes to animals she's just an amazing amazing person. Ashley has been a vet tech for a very long time and loves all animals. She lovingly cared for my ailing dog in her final years and i am eternally grateful for her kindness and constant compassion.
Ashley loves animals. Being with them and taking care of them brings her joy. She seems very comfortable doing some tasks needed to care for her dog and cats that others might find unpleasant. She has previously been employed as a vet tech, so she has knowledge and skills well beyond the average person to treat them when needed. This was particularly evident when earlier she was nursing an aging Chihuahua and presently caring for a geriatric cat. Her care and tenderness for them in these difficult moments are very evident. Of course, she is also great with pets when there are no problems or special attention needed.
Ashley has been a vet tech at Tufts when ill health forced her to give up her loved profession. She would often, very often, work many hours of overtime to care for sick animals and sacrificing her own health. I kiddingly tell her that I think she values her cat more than any human she knows. I say with 100% certainty that Ashley would be the absolute best caregiver that any person could hope for their pet. She is a kind and very caring person!

I have a 20 year old Siamese that I have had since 6 weeks old. She needs 4 meds, litterbox help, grooming, and other TLC. I also have a 15 yo oriental shorthair kitty who acts like a kitten. He is very little work and my family member has a long haired cat that stays in his room. I also have a 6 month old, 2 lb Chihuahua who is my best buddy. She has never met a stranger and visits kids and elderly with me! She is about to begin her Canine Good Citizen classes.

I have worked with all dogs and cats. Sick, healthy, ornary and good-natured, young and old. My preference is those with higher need, whether from the owners perspective or medically. I only wish to put my knowledge to good use. But I am not picky by any means and I won't turn anyone away if they are in need. I absolutely love elderly cats and dogs. More than anything.
A typical day
Hiking with my 2lb Chihuahua has become my passion! She enjoys the outdoors immensely as a treat for "working". She visits the elderly with me while I read and she provides endless licks and comfort to all she meets. She loves cats and all dogs and is my shadow but is trained to stay crated if I need her to. She is my love! Her best friend is a 125lb Newfoundland and watching them play will bring you to tears laughing.

Availability
My family member needs me less and less so I have an abundance of free time but still need to stay relatively close to home. Happy to help someone with sitting or medicating or walking while they are at work. If someone is having trouble with a new medical diagnosis with their pet, I think I could be a big help.
