I start the day with potty breaks and breakfast for everyone followed by a lite walk or free play in the backyard. With dogs who enjoy high energy activities after breakfast has settled we often go for a run, play a game of fetch, or have a romp around in our large fenced yard. For dogs who prefer to stay inside especially when it’s cold I have numerous enrichment activities to help keep them happy and engaged such as puzzles, kongs, lick mats, and snuffle mats. Another favorite past time of many dogs is laying around in the afternoon and evening sun on our back deck or lounging on our large couch. The afternoon is full of play time in the yard or an another stroll in the neighborhood. The evening begins with dinner for the pups, potty breaks, enrichment snack, outside free time and then lots of snuggles before bed. I also have two crates should your dog feel more secure in a separate space and a quiet finished basement.
