I have extensive experience with cats of all ages and am fantastic with independent, timid, and high-energy cats. I have 19 years of pet experience professionally and on a volunteer basis. I regularly enjoy volunteering and am certified in advanced cat-handling training. I am passionate about training volunteers about adult and neonatal cat care, managing successful cat foster and adoption programs, and being a neonatal kitten caregiver at nonprofit animal shelters. My recent experience is with senior cats; oncology treatments, hospice & palliative care, and administration of medications, injections, and fluids—all with patience, love, and gentleness. Your pets will receive kind, mindful, detail-oriented care. I am highly responsible, experienced, and an excellent communicator. Ashley was fantastic. She was responsive, communicative, attentive to the details in my request, provided the cutest photographs, and shared some updates about what Harvey was up to during their visit. Harvey is a very happy boy and hardly noticed I was gone. Will definitely rebook/recommend!
Ashley regularly drops in to check on my cat Bentley for me. Ashley does a great job. She's super reliable and very attentive with him. Ashley has really helped fill in the gaps with taking care of Bentley when we need the help.
I needed someone that I could trust and that was competent with caring for aging pets to watch my cat when I had to leave for a last minute work trip. My cat had medication that he needed to take on a regular schedule. Ashley did an amazing job of not only giving him his medication, but keeping him company and making him comfortable. She also did a wonderful job of respecting my home.

I am profoundly observant and intuitive with animals, so their wants and needs come naturally to me. I allow them to feel safe in my presence, and I enjoy doing whatever they want, whether exploring enrichment toys, sitting on the couch together, snuggling, or running around and playing.

A typical day
For cats, I love to take my time and get to know their personalities and likes and dislikes, then go from there. I'm up for whatever they want to do if they wish to sit on the couch and snuggle, run all over the house, play with a wand toy, etc. I aim to ensure they feel safe and comfortable in my presence.
