I’m a teacher on summer with tons of dog experience. I’d be an ideal fit for people who don’t necessarily want to set up an ongoing thing, and just need someone temporarily. I’ve had my own dogs all my life, and have fostered over 50 dogs through rescues over the last 8 years. I’ve also gone through training with several of my fosters. Im great at reading dog body language and assessing your dogs’ needs and comfort level. As a middle school teacher, I’m very patient. I’m comfortable with walking dogs of any size and enjoy long walks. My dog Finnigan recently passed, and I do not currently have a dog in the home. He was a lab/greyhound mix (80 lbs). I have always been passionate about dogs, and I just love being around them. I’m currently on summer vacation and am available any time between 6 am and 10 pm and will give dogs all the live and affection during those visits or walk. I can take walks as long or short as needed. I will be respectful of whatever your pets’ needs are. I am experienced with all different sizes and energies. I’m skilled at reading dogs’ body language. Also in the home is my partner, Pete, who has f been with me throughout my ten plus years of fostering over 70 dogs.
