I have been a volunteer since I was 16 at various animal shelters around the united states. I've moved around a lot and going to a shelter to donate my time was my way of feeling at home. I understand a dogs body language pretty well. I get to know them like I would a person, that way we get along and I understand their boundaries and we can be best buds. I feel that if you understand their body language and facial expressions you can truly get along with any dog in the world! I'm skilled at making immediate decisions in critical situations and have contacts for emergency situations. I will treat your dog(s) like my own. Your pet's needs will come first while in my care.

I would trust Ashley to care for any animal, she is smart, caring and loves animals. My furbaby would be lucky to have Ashley care for him or her.
Ashley is the most caring animal lover I know. She will go out of her way to make sure an animal is being cared for because animals are her passion. I would not want anyone else to watch my fur babies!

I love every dog breed. There's no bad dog, just a person who doesn't understand. I would like to know about their likes and dislikes. If they are dog aggressive or person aggressive. If they have any special needs to watch for or medical issues like seizures allergies asthma diabetes etc. I will not walk a dog if they have certain back hip or knee conditions that makes it hard or painful for them to walk. But I would walk them in a provided wagon for them with a dog bed so they can still get out and be free! Also if they have specific allergies. I'm open to meet with anyone and get to know the owner and dog(s) so I can get a good background of the dogs likes/dislikes behaviors etc.
A typical day
Anywhere that looks safe! If they have a favor is place to go then that where we will go! I don't mind going to the beach, trails, or dog parks. What ever makes them and you happy! Pictures can be taken during activities.
