Pet care experience
I have worked for the Athens Area Humane Society as an Animal Technician and Adoption Counselor and coordinated Pet Care Clinics. Very comfortable around all types of dogs (and other animals!) with all types of personalities! I am passionate about giving your animals the best care possible. Over the last 3 years, I have been able to spoil more than 100 foster dogs. I have two dogs of my own so I am comfortable with multiples and I have fostered up to a litter of 10 puppies and their mom. Age is also not an issue because I have experience with dogs from 1 minute old to 17 years old. I am comfortable giving any form of medicines or subcutaneous fluids if needed, running/walking one (or more) dogs, burning off energy by playing fetch, or just cuddling on the couch with your baby. I am a teacher on Summer Break right now, so my schedule is wide open! However, I do have one vacation schedule over Memorial Day Weekend and one vacation that will be end of June through early July!

I feel comfortable with any breed of any size. Working at the Humane Society, most of my experience is with mix breed dogs. My personal babies are a Lab/Husky mix boy and a Beagle mix girl. Before doing a pet sit at your house, I would simply like to know that the dog and I can be friends and I would love to know what a day between you and your dog looks like, so that I can match that as much as possible. After that, I would like to know what other requests that you would like me to do would be.
A typical day
I love to go on walks around the neighborhood with the dogs, but I also enjoy taking dogs on trails or to creeks when they play. If you have one (or the dog visits my house), we spend a lot of time playing in a baby pool and playing fetch. But I would definitely clean your pup before you came home!
