Pet care experience
I have been around dogs since I can remember. I have owned two dogs, Jane and Dylan, over the course of 15 years. I am energetic and creative, so I love ensuring my animals get the exercise they need to live a healthy, happy life. My sister is a veterinarian and both my dogs have been therapy dogs, so I understand how to care for pets as well as how to engage them in light training. I hope to meet you and your pet soon.

Ashley is a great pet-sitter. I have a very anxious labradoodle who generally dislikes any moment she cannot see me and is typically slow to trust non-me humans. My dog loves Ashley and will even approach her unprompted for pets. Ashley is responsible and good at reading the animal's cues and provides a calm reassurance. She also maintains training standards and won't let your dog "get away" with anything you wouldn't typically allow. After some time with Ashley, your dog will probably have at least a couple affectionate nick-names and a friend for life.

I live on one acre, with a large fenced in backyard with my husband. My sweet dog Jane loves racing and chasing her friends. Maximum time I would be away from the house in a day is 2-3 hours. Fur babies can expect at least one walk and games every day. I also have plenty of toys, treats, and love to give.

Availability
After being a full-time therapist for at risk youth, I am taking a break in pursuit of work with animals and social justice. This break allows me to be extremely flexible with your pets needs at any point, or multiple points during the day. I may be away daily for up to 3 hours, but ensure pups get at least one walk and lots of backyard play throughout the day. Longer term drop-ins or walking schedules are preferred. A relationship with your animal is always healthiest for them. At the same time, I'm open to short term work to support a summer vacation or busy work week.I
