Hello friends! My name is Ashley. I'm super clean, punctual, organized, patient and loving. I've been a vegetarian for many years because I'm so passionate about my love of animals. I do well with all pets and would love to help take care of your special family members. I've had cats and dogs since I was a child and have always been chosen to house and pet sit for my neighbors and friends. When staying at someone else's home it is always my intention to leave the place looking better than when I arrived. Only impeccable loving care here!

Ashley did an amazing job house sitting and caring for our dog! It was our first time having someone stay with him in our home so we were a bit anxious at first but she instantly helped us to feel relieved and enjoy our trip. She got our shy dog to warm up to her pretty quickly, sent us regular updates and photos, and truly made us feel that she loves and cares for him. She also kept the house nice and tidy. 10/10 would recommend to anyone, we hope to book her again the next time we’re away!

I'm extremely careful, respectful & responsible when in clients' homes. Here is a list of my priorities and capabilities when housesitting: Looking after pets, including taking them for walks, providing food and fresh water, cleaning up any messes and contacting the vet, if necessary. House cleaning, including laundry and floors. Plant watering, indoors & out. Properly securing the property at the end of the day, ie. closing curtains or blinds, locking doors, securing alarm systems. Maintaining a visible presence so the property is clearly occupied and secure, ie. turning lights on and off accordingly. Pool maintenance such as skimming and emptying filters. Reaching the relevant people if there is an emergency or maintenance issue. I'm also more than happy to bring in mail, take out trash or recycling bins, or anything else you may need. Just ask!

I always love to have a meet & greet before sitting for a new client. That way they can let me know if there are any special needs or things I need to be aware of ahead of time. I always appreciate extra details about the layout of the house, entrance info, areas the pets are and aren't allowed to go, certain behaviors to watch for, etc.
A typical day
I love to take dogs on long walks and to stop to give them love along the way. It is always fun to meet new pups and their people! Spending time with dogs is what I truly love to do!

Availability
I nanny weekdays, from 8am - 2pm, but am usually off weekends. I am always eager to be housesitting and taking dogs for walks when I'm not nannying.
