I have been working for Rover as a pet sitter/dog walker for 2 1/2 years now and love it. I enjoy meeting new people and pets and helping in times of need. I just relocated to Austin, TX and am looking forward to meeting new clients and their humans. Growing up I was surrounded by dogs, cats, birds, and fish. I cannot remember a time my family did not have a pet. For two years, I volunteered as a Hiking Buddy for the Nevada Humane Society in which I would take dogs on hikes throughout Carson City, Nevada. Prior to COVID, I was a volunteer dog walker for RSQ Dogs in St. George, Utah. I have a four year old male cat I rescued named Norman Bates, a three year old female cat I adopted named Mother (bonus points if you get the reference), and just took in my grandmother’s senior cat Harvey. I am often the first person my friends ask to walk or babysit their pets while they are away. Once I buy a house with a yard, I plan on adopting my future dog.
