Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs with a variety of temperaments and worked in a large pet boarding facility. My duties included one on one dog handling for all breeds and personalities, as well as being an attendant for group doggy daycare. My one year of experience is only as a professional, but pet-care is a permanent part of my lifestyle. As someone that has hospice fostered, I can guarantee compassionate and individualized care for your pet how you see fit. I understand how important it is to feel confident that your furry loved one is in the right hands, and I will go to any length to ensure both you and your dog are comfortable. No request is too inconvenient! My goal as a pet-care provider is not to treat your dog(s) just as a pet, but as a loved member your family.

We booked Ashley to sit for our two pups, one of them only 6 months old. She did a great job with our older dog and puppy. Puppy had some separation anxiety and she handled it very well and stayed in touch with us to let us know what was happening so we weren't stressed out either. We've since booked Ashely two more times, one of which is a 16 day stay. We'd recommend Ashley to anyone who needs a sitter and someone they could trust.
Ashley loves dogs! She is happiest when she's with a dog or dogs. Ashley takes the best of care of them. I am a partner in a rescue that has had the good fortune of having Ashley foster a very frail older dog for us. She took care of her as though the dog were her own. Ashley kept her warm and took her to work with her. The dog's safety and well-being was on Ashley's mind at all times. Even though Ashley had the care of the dog for only a short time, she was heartbroken when we needed to have her put to sleep, due to her medical state. I would trust Ashley with any future foster dog or my own dogs, whether for dog-sitting at my house, taking them on a walk, or caring for them in her own home. She is dependable, thoughtful and able to anticipate problems that might arise and how to avoid them or, if that's not possible, how to handle them.
I had the pleasure of working with Ashley at a local dog boarding facility before she left for college. Ashley is great with the animals, because she's so gentle and kind. They really trust her. Even my own shy/fearful dog always felt comfortable with Ashley. When I worked with her, she always went above and beyond every day without ever being asked. Anyone would be lucky to have Ashley caring for their pet!
Ashley is a great lover if dogs. She went the extra mile in helping our rescue save dogs! We were impressed to the care and attention she gave to Mo, a dog in our program. We were sad to hear she moved out of out area. Our lost and your gain!
