Pet care experience
I have been a lover of cats my whole life, as evidenced by the many photos of me as a child either next to or holding a cat. I currently live with two very playful and sweet kitties - Big Charlie, a brown tabby and his sister Balou, a dilute calico. I have relevant experience as a cat sitter and dog walker for the Humane Rescue Alliance where I was exposed to a variety of breeds and personalities. I helped to socialize and play with cats as well as socialize and walk dogs. I also volunteer for spay/neuter clinics in the DC area. I often take care of my friends' pets when they are away - ranging from indoor/outdoor cats to medium and large sized dogs.

Ashley always takes wonderful care of my 3 cats. Two of my cats are on different prescription foods. She makes sure that each cat gets the correct food and administers insulin to my diabetic cat. I’m thankful that my cats are well cared for when I’m out of town.
Ashley has taken good care of my 3 cats multiple times now. Two of my cats are on different prescription foods. She makes sure each cat gets the correct food and quantity for each meal. She has also done a great job giving my diabetic cat insulin injections twice a day when I’m traveling.
Ashley is extremely reliable, friendly and always provides thorough updates. She’s our only “go to.”

I think it is important to understand and follow your dog or cat's routine so that they experience some normalcy even when you are away. Favorite toys, treats and activities as well as any medical concerns or warning signs to be aware of and watch out for.
A typical day
I love to go on long walks if your dog is up for it. Since I will be coming to you, I would love to learn about your pup's favorite walking route and favorite toys to play with. If watching kitties, will respect their boundaries - play, snuggle or give them space - whatever they prefer.
