Pet care experience
I have had dogs for as long as I can remember, from the largest Great Pyrenees and Rottweilers to the tiniest Chihuahuas and Yorkies. When I left for college, I missed having them around so much that I got a job at a doggy daycare and I got to take care of all sorts of different babies there! My house is currently puppy-proofed for my own 8-month old large breed, and I have a huge fenced in backyard to make sure we have room to play all the fun games together! I also have rescue kitties so we are equipped with quiet cat-nap spaces and lots of towers and stimulation for indoor cats. Not to mention, I think the pet hair adds a little pizzazz to the home decor scheme ☺️

I have twice asked Ashley to keep my cats while I was out of town. One of my cats knocked objects off her dresser and she understood he was upset because he missed me. She is kind and compassionate and if trusted with care of your pets will put their needs first
Ashley watches my dog every day while I'm at work. My dog, Grace, used to jump on me to say hi when I got home from work. I couldn't figure out how to make her stop and Ashley has trained her to the point where Grace doesn't jump on me in greeting at all. She's very patient and kind with my dog, her dog, and her cats. I'll recommend Ashley as a pet sitter to anyone that asks.

I have a larger home and stockade fenced yard, with a guest bedroom I’ve dedicated to my pups and their crates with a queen size bed for napping. One of my puppies is only 8-months old, so our home is 100% puppy proofed with no access to upstairs where they can get into any trouble. I keep extra dog food, puppy pads, and treats handy at all times, and we have toys appropriate for small and large doggies. For the kitties, we have a cat tower in nearly every room, and many of them are upstairs so they can have a reprieve from the canines if they want a peaceful afternoon of birdwatching the doves from the window! We keep cat toys strewn about, and we have catnip and temptations in every closet for a quick treat and mental stimulation!

A typical day
My dogs and I love to play fetch in our background, and I recently purchased a doggy pool if water is your pups kinda thing. We love going for walks all around the neighborhood and one of my dogs even likes to go for a walk up to the park to look at all the ducks in the pond! We end the day with a little bit of training, cuddles on the couch and some head pats.
