Pet care experience
I've grown up with dogs and cats. I've helped friends and family with house sitting on occasion. Last year, I assisted in care of 16 chickens and 2 turkeys; feeding, watering, cleaning the coop. I've spent the past 6+ years as a classroom teacher, where caring for those in need came naturally. As a pet sitter, I can dedicate my undivided attention to your fur baby. I believe communication is paramount; be specific with what you want and need, and I will act on it accordingly. Of course, dogs and kitties communicate too, and my compassionate and attentive ways will help keep your pet content!

Ashley is an amazing human being. She is she is loving and caring person to take care of your fur-babies. Not only did she care for my two senior dogs. She also looked after my chickens, Pigs, and Horses. You will have no regrets with the amount of kind positive attention she gives to all animals.

If you desire pet boarding, I suggest a meet and greet at my house first, as it is a tiny home. I have an enclosed yard and lots of acres to roam, but want to be sure it's a fit.

A typical day
A typical day depends on what you desire for your pup, cat or other animal. I will adhere to their routine. Otherwise, I hope to play, pet, take for walks, monitor their bathroom usage if needed, talk to them and provide company. I definitely want to to ensure they stretch their legs, as that's why they gave a sitter! :)

Availability
Generally, my availability is evenings and weekends. Sundays are only sometimes available. I'm a Substitute Teacher while determining if I wish to go back to the classroom full-time or not. During school holidays, (Thanksgiving break, etc.) I will be available each day. I choose the days I Substitute, so on a few special occasions MAY be able to work some daytime weekdays.
