Information Ash K. would like to know about your pet

Every cat is unique, so I'll pay close attention to your cat's preferences and tailor activities accordingly. The goal is to keep your feline friend happy, healthy, and entertained during their time with me.

A typical day

When caring for cats, it's important to engage them in activities that stimulate their minds, keep them physically active, and provide opportunities for bonding. Here are some fun activities I'll enjoy with the cats I watch: Interactive Playtime: Cats love interactive play sessions. I'll bring out feather wands, laser pointers, and other toys to engage your cat in playful hunting and pouncing activities. It's not only entertaining but also a great way for your cat to burn off energy. Hide and Seek: I'll create hiding spots using blankets or cardboard boxes and encourage your cat to explore. Cats enjoy the thrill of discovery, and this game can be both mentally and physically stimulating. Treat Puzzles: Puzzle feeders or treat-dispensing toys are excellent for mental stimulation. I'll fill these toys with your cat's favorite treats or kibble, encouraging them to figure out how to get the goodies out. Feather Chase: Feather toys can mimic the movement of birds, making them enticing for cats. I'll dangle feathers or soft toys for your cat to chase and pounce on. Window Watching: Cats are often fascinated by the outside world. I'll position a comfy cat bed or cushion by a window with a view, so your cat can spend time birdwatching and observing outdoor activities. Cuddle and Petting Time: Many cats enjoy affectionate interaction. I'll spend quality time petting, brushing, and cuddling with your cat, providing the attention and affection they crave. Catnip Play: If your cat responds well to catnip, I'll introduce catnip-filled toys or sprinkle a little catnip in a safe play area. It can lead to entertaining and sometimes comical reactions. Interactive Apps: There are interactive cat apps available that display moving objects on a tablet or smartphone screen. Some cats love pawing at these virtual "prey." Sensory Play: Cats have sensitive senses. I'll incorporate activities that stimulate their senses, such as dangling a string for them to bat at or providing different textured toys to explore. Music and Calming Activities: Some cats enjoy soothing music or calming sounds. I'll create a serene environment with soft music or nature sounds to help your cat relax.
