Hello! I’m a Veterinary Tech currently working on my Bachelors Degree in Veterinary Technology. I spent 4 years working at a local Veterinary Emergency Hospital and have since work over 11 years in private practice only to come back to my beginning in emergency vetmed. My pet family includes Zoey-Lynn a Boxer rescue who is 9, our rescued French bulldog who is 3, our cat who is 9.5 and last but not least our newest rescue a King Charles Spaniel that’s in congestive heart failure that we think is around 10. I have always taken great pride in my passion to provide only the best animal care. I have left veterinary practices after experiencing what I felt was patient care I would have never allowed my own pet to endure. I’m more than comfortable administering meds to difficult pets and have no issues helping with geriatric at home care. If you have any questions please reach out to me. I am available to bring small dogs/ exotics into my home but can only assist with cats who can stay overnight i their own home as my cat can tolerate most animals but not any felines in her home.

Information Ashley A. would like to know about your pet
Due to my pets well being I can not accept a pet who is over 9 months of age that hasn’t been spayed or neutered. I also will require vaccine history along with proof that your pet/pets are current on heartworm prevention. If your pet isn’t 100% house broken that is ok but I would need to know so that I can expect to assist you in house training. That being said I WILL not house break your pet but will assist you in the task. I am also available to give any medications necessary to assist your pets well being. I am willing to do injections and sq fluids as well.
A typical day
I would love to have your dog/puppy come and play with my dogs to aid in their growth/socializing. My pets have all had experience in a doggie daycare setting and are all patient with “temperamental” dogs. Basically all 3 know when to play and when to back off. That being said as much as I do t want my pets to stress I absolutely wouldn’t tolerate anyone else’s being stressed. If your fur kid has a bad day or two I want to work with them but if I fee your pet or any of my own aren’t going to benefit in interaction I will work with you to find an alternative option.

I currently work 3 overnight shifts a week at a local er. If you prefer your pet to not be home alone overnight I can always bring them with me to work.
