Once my shih tzu gave birth to 8 adorable puppies in 2009, I knew exactly what I wanted to spend the rest of my life doing, caring for animals of all sorts. I am currently a Veterinary Technician student working towards my degree in Veterinary Science. Having up to 12 pets of our own at a single time in my house, I know the work and love that goes into providing all pets what they need to be happy and healthy! Taking care of one of my dogs, Tony, who is blind is also a task to which I have adapted very quickly to his needs. Disabled dogs is something I am familiar and comfortable caring for. I have volunteered with local animal shelters in the past which included tasks such as preparing their food dishes, going on long walks, socialization hour in the play room with one on one exercising to increase their interactions while they wait to find their forever homes, and general routine care for the animals there. My neighbors and their friends or family have relied on me throughout the years to care for their fur babies while they are away. Whether it be away on a vacation, or away at work for the day, I have continued to be their pets caretaker whenever they need, or just because their pets need someone to play with for a little! Animal care of all kind is my passion. I can’t wait to meet yours!
