Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of my own animals since I can remember. I went to college to be a veterinarian, but turns out school isn’t for me. Back home I raised 3 litters of St. Bernard’s, raised kittens, cared for a blind toy poodle, and have taken care of senior dogs. I have fostered 3 dogs through New Nodaway Humane Society in Maryville, MO. It was such a rewarding experience to help train and find the dogs new homes. I live on my own here in South Lake with my Siberian Husky, Juke.

Such a pleasure! Ashley was so very helpful when we had a pup with a sick belly! She spent some quality time with my girls and was Uber communicative! I’d highly recommended her!
Ashlen did great watching my dog. She messaged me pictures and videos of my dog while she was dog sitting. She was also very responsive to my request of a dog sitter on such short notice. I would highly recommend Ashlen for your dog sitting needs!

I would never allow a pet in my camper with my dog and I unless the owner approved, if I’m familiar with the pet, and if they got along with Juke. For the whole duration of the visit, Juke would be put away in his kennel in my camper.

A typical day
Going on a trail is my preference to let the dog sniff and explore. Tahoe has so many different trails amongst the neighborhoods that there shouldn’t ever be an issue. If the dog likes to play fetch or tug-o-war then I’m game. I’ll do pretty much anything the dog enjoys doing!

Availability
I live in my truck bed camper, so my pup and I are outside pretty much all day. We go on bike rides and hikes occasionally. I have a lot of freedom to go where I’d like, so long-term sits are absolutely fine!
