City strolls and just like home!

Pet care experience

Hello, I am Ashleigh. Myself and my two children/fellow dog sitters, London and Logan (10 and 8 years old) live in the heart of downtown Covington in the historic Levassor Park Neighborhood. this are is fantastic for dogs. It is very pet friendly, and we have the Licking River Trails right at the end of our street as well as the gorgeous campus of Holmes High School in our back yard. The front meadow at Holmes is the perfect place for a short morning walk while the Licking River Trails are excellent for meandering through a Saturday afternoon. I am 5 start rated here on Rover for a good reason, I adore animals! If you can, PLEASE LEAVE ME A REVIEW! I will take care of your pooch, so please help me reach more people by leaving me feedback in a review. **I was recently featured in a River City News article about Rover and my dog sitting services as one of the top rated sitters in the Cincinnati area!**

Took great care of the dog. I didn't feel like she was the best fit for a bunny sitter or for drop-in visits, due to the poor communication while I was gone, and less than punctual drop-ins. I understand she has never bunny-sat before or maybe even find drop-ins, but I was disappointed none-the-less.

Ashleigh is a great sitter. She knows exactly how to care for dogs of all kinds and treats them like family. The updates all day made me feel so at ease about leaving our dog with her. Will use her again for sure!

I was overseas, and then a prior sitter hits me with the most unpleasant news, that she is unable to sit with my dog. In the mids of desporation and scrambling to cancel all my plans, Rover sent me Ashleigh, who saved me and my baby. Bruno was loved and cared for. Her kids were great with him. I received several updates per day and she kept me calm. I am so grateful that I found her. Will absolutely use her again.

Information ASHLEIGH S. would like to know about your pet

I adore all dogs, but the more I know about them, the better I can take care of them! Please bring a timetable of a typical day for your dog and include the following: *Approximate time that they eat, take a walk, play, sleep *Likes and dislikes (i.e. loves belly rubs but hates to have head touched, dislikes men in hats, etc.) *General description of temperament *Tips and tricks to have a great stay! Anything you think might help (Like give Fido a treat before you go on a walk, etc.) that will allow your dog and I to have a fun time while you are away. Please remember your list is just a guideline. We will take the information provided and adapt it to fit with our lifestyle. If I am unable to complete something you specifically mention I will be upfront about that and offer you an alternative. We will need to know in advance if your dog is: Fully potty trained? Crate trained? (Crates are not required unless your dog is not potty trained. I do have an extra crate if you forget yours.) A barker? Friendly? Likes kids? Likes other dogs? Likes cats? Please also tell us in advance if your dog needs to be the only dog (besides my own) during their stay. If your dog, for social or anxiety reasons, needs to be the only dog for the duration of their stay my rate would be slightly higher to accommodate the loss of revenue. Otherwise I will continue to accept other clients, up to three in addition to my own canine, during your dog's stay. **Due to the recent spreading of dog flu in the Cincinnati area we will not be making visits to any dog parks at this time. (Our client's dogs will enjoy the Licking River Trails instead.) We haven't had any cases of dog flu with our clients but I would like to minimize the chance of exposure if I can. We completely sanitize the house during and after each dog's stay. Please bring the following for your pet: *Crate (if crate trained) *Leash (and any subsequent specialty leashes such as harnesses and gentle leaders.) *Food Bowls *Enough food for their stay *Treats (I have treats but if your dog likes a specific kind bring some along!) *A toy so they feel at home *Something that smells like you. This could be a t-shirt or small blanket, and will be comforting to your pet.

A typical day

Our sitting style is laid back. Our home is your dog's home! Your pup can expect: *Three to four 15-25 minute walks a day. I work full time but have a flexible schedule that allows me to come home on breaks. Your pup will go potty at 6:30 every morning, around 1 p.m., about 6:30 p.m. and again at 10 p.m. *Lots of play with other dogs (my dog as well as other client's dogs) as wells as children. My children are my co-workers in this doggie business. They care for your dog as much as I do! *All the comforts of home! They are free to roam in every room, hop up on the couch or our beds for a snuggle, whatever they do at home they can enjoy here. *A peaceful neighborhood setting in the heart of downtown. My neighborhood is very dog friendly, you will always see someone out walking their dog.
