Pet care experience
I've been taking care of dogs for 13 years now, ever since my family and I got our first dog, but I've been loving dogs for 21 years and counting now! I really began housesitting, walking and taking care of dogs ruff-ly ( haha!!! ) 10 years ago when I began housesitting for family friends. My own dog family grew as well so I have a lot of experience of taking care of up to three dogs at a time. I'm very accommodating with particular needs a dog might need including but not limited to administering medicine, carrying when wounded and other special circumstances; I've cared for many dogs that needed medication, dogs that were weak from undergoing surgery and even my own dog who was in a cast for months. I have taken care of dogs of all shapes and sizes and breeds including Australian Shepherds, Labs, Bassets, Poodles, Chihuahuas, Poodles, Pomeranians, Huskies, Corgis, Great Danes, Spaniels and everything in between! I'm currently attending Point Loma Nazarene University, which is great in every aspect except that I'm away from my dog at home. This is why I'd love to help you in caring for your dog while also filling the void of being away from my Bassett bestie.

It was our first time using Rover and we were very pleased. Ashleigh is such a sweet girl, she made us feel comfortable leaving our 2 dogs with her. She texted us and sent pictures while we were away and we returned to a spotless house (even stripped the bed) and happy happy dogs. We will definitely use her again.
I was not happy with my experience. She showed 6 hours after I left, was at my apartment for less than an hour then left. I had to message her to at least walk my dogs. Her lack of care for my dogs completely made me feel uneasey while I was out of town. I have cameras in my house and was able to listen to the things they were saying which made me feel even more uneasey with her stay. Her and her roommate we're talking about how much things cost in my house, and went into the bathroom together and shut the door for white some time. I am not a crazy dog mom but I believe in respect and treating someone else's pet like they're your own. So, I will not be using her again.
Ashleigh is an excellent dog sitter. I have known her since her birth, and she has always been a dog-lover. As she grew up and became old enough, I have had her stay at my house, with my dogs, while I went on vacation numerous times. She is my top choice for a dog sitter, and anyone who is lucky enough to have her care for their dogs will not be disappointed. She is trustworthy, caring and highly responsible and I highly recommend her without hesitation.
Ashleigh is a very responsible person who cares deeply for the wellbeing of all dogs. We appreciate the attention, time, and love she gives our dog. When we can't be at home, we have the confidence that our dog will be taken care of without having to worry.

It's always good to know a dog's past history, such as trouble getting along with other dogs or causing too much difficulty out and about on walks, or any other concerns that have arisen previously. My dog at home was once extremely energetic and could be quite the troublemaker on walks, so it's nothing I can't handle, it's just good to know what to expect. I have a Bassett at home so I definitely have a soft spot for those as well as Corgis and Huskies, but really any pup will warm my heart.
A typical day
I already love walking around the Point Loma and Ocean Beach area so I'd love to treat your canine companion to those superb views. Also more than willing to head over to dog beach, if that's something your dog enjoys, where we can splash and frolic about.
