I've been taking care of pets personally for over 15 years, and professionally working for over 5. I live in Midtown Toronto and this job helps me pay towards my Masters in Social Work! I love being outdoors and staying active, so dog walking is my perfect job. I manage my time efficiently, honor the trust you place in me with your pets and access to your home, and I build quick rapport. I cannot wait to learn all about your furry best friend and how I can give them the best care they need!

Before we book a meet and greet I like to clearly know what time you need me and any special instructions (needs medicine, dietary needs, etc.) The better informed I am, the easier it is to follow your pets need to a T. Anything extra or special you want me to know (Loves PB, favourite park, special leash, etc.) are also great to hear about!
A typical day
I attune to your dog's needs - if they are high energy, we will take long walks or go to fenced-in doggy parks to use up that energy! If your dog wants company and less activity, we can snuggle and play indoors and do more local walks. For kitties it’s the same thing, if they like snuggles or being brushed we can do that, if they’re timid and just want food I will be gentle, and if a favourite toy is lying around we will play!

Availability
As a masters student I have a consistent and clear schedule as reflected by my Rover calendar which I keep updated. I love being outdoors so minding your pups who need lots of walks and play is perfect. As a cat owner, I also appreciate the quick care or long snuggles of pet ownership as well! For now this is a part-time job the support me through my schooling and I chose this because of my long-time passion for animals and costumer service.
