Pet care experience
Learning how to care for your pets specific needs would be my top priority. Shy or timid? Not a problem, I’d be happy and willing to build a trusting relationship with your pup. Reactive or unsure of new people? I can take introductions slowly. Animals have their own personalities and boundaries, I understand and respect them all equally.

I own a house with my fiancé right in the heart of fox lake. I have three dogs, two are energetic young dogs, and one senior dog. I also have two cats who do well with most animals. I care for my dogs through out the day on the days I work from home.

Information Ashlee J. would like to know about your pet
My dogs are medium/large sizes. So I am comfortable with all dog sizes! If your dog needs oral medication they prefer to take a specific way I’d be okay administering that with specific instructions given. One of my pups has daily oral medication so I am familiar. Please let me know about any allergies, behavioral tendencies, or any specific situations they may be sensitive to. I will adhere to all boundaries requested and stick to a routine your pup (or cat!) is most comfortable with.
A typical day
I plan to start with check-ins for any potential clients. What I would do is introduce myself to the animals. With dogs I’d take them out to the bathroom and made sure they had water and food if needed. For cats it would be a similar situation and I’d be willing to clean littler boxes if the parents will be gone longer than a day or two. Another other additional steps requested by the parents would be followed. And of course, pictures!!! :)

Availability
I currently work full time, 7am- 3:30pm. I am available most weekday evenings and most weekends all-day if needed. As I work with a set schedule I would prefer long term set schedules with potential clients to ensure I am using my time with their fur babies as productively as possible. If your dog has any special needs, I may not have experience in truly special cases, but with instruction and guidance I’d be happy to learn! :)
