Pet care experience
I have my own business & I believe in doing what you love. I also sometimes contract with other locally owned pet sitting companies. I do not turn down any breed of animal or any type of animal. I have taken care of cats, dogs, horses, birds, llamas, goats, sheep, pigs, cows, donkeys, chickens, ducks, turkeys, fish and etc. I was an equine vet assistant for almost 2 years locally. I used to work at Old Town Pet Resort in Springfield, VA and did just about everything there. I worked in the grooming dept, kennels, doggie daycare, and swam with the dogs in the indoor pool. I currently work for a local small vet office. I have taken a pet CPR & first aid course. I’ve also had training OSHA training, dog off-leash play training, & etc. I have owned my own animals all my life. I have dogs, cats, horses, fish & chickens of my own. I am an experienced dog bather. *NOTE: Due to a full time job I only have limited availability. I am not available midday & work 10 hours during the day with a 30 minute commute.

Ashlee was wonderful as our sitter for the past week! The dogs seemed to love her, and she took care of everything I asked her to oversee! Everything was neat and clean when we returned! She sent some great photos and text messages during the week so we knew all was going well! I highly recommend her!
We've had Ashlee stay and care for our cat and fish (we took the dog with us). She is very trust worthy and gave great updates unrequested that provided us with peace of mind. I have seen her with many, many animals over the years. She is kind handed and loves ALL animals! She follows directions well and will leave you notes in case you are low on feed or anything else that comes to her attention. Ashlee is very reliable and honest. We highly recommend her!
Ashlee is awesome. I was hesitant to use someone I did not know, but our pet sitter cancelled at the last minute and our plans for our trip were just 3 days away. I looked up this site and found Ashlee. The dogs loved her . We will definitely use her again. So glad we found her. I would highly recommend her and I am always overly cautious when it comes to our family:-). What a gift to find her for our pups!! Thanks Ashlee:-)
Ashlee is a wonderful pet sitter. She is reliable, trustworthy and easy to communicate with. She keeps you updated on your pets and keeps your home in order. She is very knowledgeable about animals and pays attention to details. We have used her services for years. Highly recommended.

I prefer that my client's animals, especially dogs, be up to date on their vaccinations. I am contact with other animals on a daily basis and do not want to be at risk for spreading any infectious diseases. I do sanitize my hands between visits with other animals but you can never be too cautious.
A typical day
I provide excellent care for all animals. I am very attentive to how they normally act & respond immediately if I notice any changes. I leave notes daily & will let you know if your animal even has a change in their #2. I prefer to go on walks down a street rather than walk circles around a yard, if the dog(s) require leash walking. I prefer to pick up after dogs when on walks, even if you live in the country. No one likes to see, smell or step in #2 laying around. ;) I don't mind at all if animals sleep with me on the bed. If I am staying overnight, I will usually be keeping your animals company during all my free time.
