I am somewhat new to my brothers family farm in Apple Valley, but caring about/for animals is nothing new to me. I have had a wide variety of pets through out my life, and continue learning how to care for even more types of animals, especially with the farming skills I've been acquiring living on the farm this last year. I have no kids of my own, but there are 3 that I'm an auntie of, here on the farm. My sister Mindi inspired me towatd Rover, she used to be a Rover sitter (her favorite job ever) and worked at a feed bin and gas station when she was in a traumatic accident leaving her disabled. Taking care of her also inspired me to extend my animal care knowledge, so I'm constantly studying although I'm not studying for school currently, just for personal knowledge and fun. I am not limited to dog and cat only sitting, but can also accept pets of all sorts, including, but not limited to birds, reptiles, hamsters, bunnies, and other small or large animals. I have experience with farm animals such as cattle, pigs, turkeys, bunnies, and chickens. I actually care for the farm animals at home on the farm daily, I guess it'd be safe to call myself a ranch hand... I'm outside on the farm more than inside everyday and I'm not scared of dirt or a exercise, so animals that like to have fun outdoors and be active will love hanging out with me. I am capable of administering medications including injection, and have experience doing so (both human and animal). And for any dogs that like to keep it mellow and lounge around, feel free to snuggle, even though I take care of the 3 farm dogs that live in the main house, I lack my own doggy companion currently and miss snuggling up with my dog that stayed with my sister and dad when I moved away.
