I was raised in a multi dog household and have always lived with at least one dog. At the age of 12 I started volunteering at the local humane society and eventually became an employee. I have also been a pet sitter since I was in high school. I always knew I wanted to be a veterinarian because I always loved working with animals, especially dogs. I have really enjoyed learning about animals and the veterinary profession while at NC State. I plan on being mainly a small animal vet but I have also found a love for small ruminants (goats, sheep, llamas, etc) so I want to work with them a little too. Vet school has taught me a lot, but I am looking forward to being able to focus on the animals that introduced me to my passion. I cannot wait to get to know your dogs and spoil them with extra playtime and treats.
