Pet care experience
My name is Ashia Sanders, I am a 27 year old student that lives in Calgary, AB. I have worked with pets for over a decade. I have a diploma in Animal Science and have worked as a vet assistant in both large and small animal clinics. I have volunteered at local shelters, and worked as a professional dog sitter/walker. I own 2 lovely rescue pups of my own, Dot and Herschel. Dot is a 6 year old Staffordshire who is extremely sweet, quiet and tolerant. Herschel is a 5 year old Lab mix who is full of energy and love! I have lived in Lethbridge for the past ten years, and my husband and I would dog sit very regularly! I absolutely loved it. We recently moved to Calgary and now that our home won’t work for hosting dogs, I’d love to help with drop-in visits and walks if needed! Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

We love Ashia! I leave for work in the morning and don’t think twice about how well our pup will be cared for during her daily check ins. Highly recommend!
Ashia is fantastic! She really helped ease the transition of our new puppy coming home. She cared for Marlow like she was her own. I was completely comfortable with her capabilities as soon as I met her. She is well versed in dog care and goes above and beyond with communication and photos. We will be extending our drop ins with Ashia to be a routine occurrence!
Ashia is always super accommodating and provides detailed updates with lots of photos! Our pups love when she stops by! 🐶

Information Ashia S. would like to know about your pet
- No breed preferences, my dogs and I love all dogs. I will need to know your dog’s feeding schedule and amount, as well as any medication that they require. I am not able to free feed, as my pups would help themselves haha.
A typical day
- Daily walks - Playing in the yard - Lots of love and attention - Netflix and cuddles - Mental stimulation in the form of going through their favourite tricks, wrapping some of their kibbles up in a towel for them to search for, hiding their toys for them to find, etc.
