Pet care experience
My family has two cats, one of which is mine (Luna). Luna is a silver-shaded Persian cat, and I've taken care of her by myself for around 5 years since I was 15. Activities with her have included weekly grooming, feeding her twice a day, cleaning her litter box at least once per day, and spending 20-30 minutes each day playing with her, not to mention giving her love and affection! I also have three fish that I take care of as well, which includes daily feeding and weekly cleaning of their tank. Additionally, I have extensive experience house-sitting my partner's rowdy Australian shepherd, Blue, and have shared in the responsibility of taking care of him for around a year now. This has entailed taking him on walks, playing with him, taking him outside, feeding him, brushing his coat, and putting him to bed in his crate every night. I love all animals, and treat each of them with compassion and patience, regardless of the individual quirks and challenges that each pet comes with, and I can't wait to do the same with yours!

I offer all pets in my care a safe and comfortable environment. All pets that I care for are allowed on my furniture and in every corner of my spacious, one-bedroom apartment. I typically feed pets twice per day; once in the morning and once at night, and offer a complimentary grooming of your pet with every boarding service. I will also play with them throughout the day, supervise them closely as I work remotely, and provide them with as much or as little attention as I am directed to. On walks, I will take them around the safe and beautiful neighborhood around the Wellington apartments in Lexington for approximately 20-30 minutes. Whether or not they have special needs, are injured and/or are elderly, whether or not they have been house trained, and how far they are along in their socialization process so I have a vague idea of how they will react to people and other pets on walks. Also, I like to have a general idea of their personality so I can plan fun activities and set up times to play with them ahead of time depending on their energy level and needed amount of stimulation.
A typical day
I love to provide as much mental and physical stimulation for the pets that I care for as possible. I have several dog toys including squeaky toys, stuffed animals and Frisbees that I love to use with dogs, especially outside when it's sunny and they have more space to run around.

Availability
I'm working full-time at a remote summer internship, so I am at home all day from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm, with plenty of time and space to give your pet the attention they deserve!
