I'm a nurse practitioner, currently on a much needed sabbatical from working in health care! I've also been an active pet and house sitter for over 25 years. Since I'm not working a 9-5 right now, I have all the time in the world to spend with your pets as well as the flexibility to care for your pet’s unique needs :) I completed a pre-veterinary curriculum at Cornell University, and many years of clinical nursing experience, so I am comfortable with animals that have medical issues. I have taken care of several pets that required daily medications, including insulin injections. Working with senior animals is also one of my specialties. I am a non-smoker, eat primarily vegetarian, and live an active lifestyle, and I am more than happy to take dogs for extended walks/hikes. I am also an introvert who likes to read and meditate, so I prefer to keep a quiet home environment without many guests. House and pet sitting has been a wonderful experience for me over the years.
