Pet care experience
I've been taking care of dogs for 13 years. I grew up with 4 before moving in with a friend who had 2, including an elderly, mostly blind dog. I got a kitten when he was 7 weeks old, and another when he was 4 months. I've cared for a small, large, medium, old, and young animals. I have also previously cared for Mice, Hamsters, Hermit Crabs, Fish, and Birds.

My kitten had the best time staying with Asher! He got along really well with his two cats - I really appreciate that Asher suggested a couple of shorter meet and greets before my trip so they could all get used to each other. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone with a young or active cat!
Asher had been a great help! Asher let me meet his cats when I dropped my cats off to see if they get along and how he will settle everything out. My cats were well taken care of. I also got detailed updates from Asher throughout my busy schedule. I would recommend Asher to anyone planning to board their cat(s). 5 stars all across!

While I don't have my own yard I do have grassy areas and walking paths around me for dogs. I have a spacious apartment with a large area for my cats and other animals to play with lots of toys. My main focus is making sure clients animals and my animals not only get along but are also comfortable with each other.

I'm used to living and caring for dogs, so I know how many typically behave. However, if they are especially mischievous or have certain needs that differ from most dogs then I would like to know. They also need to be cat friendly, I am always down to have a meet and greet if you are unsure how they will react to cats.
A typical day
I like to keep dogs pretty active, playing fetch, walking, and playing games. I've taught my own dogs before how to play hide and seek and they loved it.

Availability
I work from home with my own hours which revolve around my two cats and their needs. I put my animals first and make sure they are fed, played with, happy, and comfortable. I try to find creative ways to keep my animals entertained while I am working, but overall, I work around their needs.
