Pet care experience
I have experience in taking care of pets from walking to nursing them after an injury. Not a certified nurse, just a lot of experience with my haphazard puppy and my other dogs who’ve been injured. I’ve had a dog who was attacked by another dog and had to carry her out to my yard to potty, to her water bowl, hand feed her etc. My current puppy has the worst luck with her feet and I’m nursing a hurt toe for the third time. But I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I love spending time with animals, it warms my heart and something I’ve been wanting to do as a job for a long time. I can walk your dog OR play fetch, tug, flirt pole. I can also do both take a 30-60 minute walk with fetch somewhere in between. I know my dogs are not always satisfied with a walk and still need something else to get their energy out.

Wonderful care for my pets
Ashawnee is my sister and has been a dog lover as long as I’ve known her. She’s taught me everything I know about caring for dogs and took it upon herself to care for my dog Toby (a shih-tzu mix) while I went to college and couldn’t take him with me. She made sure he got daily walks or park romps, made sure he ate even though he’s the worlds most finicky eater and often had to hand feed him! When I’m home on vacation she offers to watch him while I catch up with friends, too. He’s a reactive dog and hard to walk but she still walks him because she knows how important his exercise needs are.

I prefer to pet sit and care for pets in the comfort of their own home. No need to stress them out more, I’ll come to you. You can leave the most detailed instructions and I’ll follow them to a T. Pretend to fix your dogs food on the stove? I got you. Sing happy birthday to them before they eat? I got you. I do not work full time, my attention can and will be fully on your pet and their needs.

Please let me know if you have a reactive dog that does NOT redirect on the handler. I know of a lot of quiet parks and areas to take them on. I also know how to avoid reactive situations. I do not accept aggressive dogs, however.
A typical day
I love both the Nampa green belt and the Boise one. My dogs and I also frequent parks but not the busy ones. I like to put them on a longline so they can go off on a sniffari. Currently most of the trails are too muddy to be on, but when the muddy season is over we also have a couple trails we love.

Availability
I make sure my own dogs get an hour each to exercise, the rest of my time I have to dedicate to you and yours. I understand how important it is for dogs to get exercise and enrichment during the day. It’s hard when you work or go to school full time, that’s why I’m here for you.
