My name is Ash. I've adored animals all my life and I am pursuing a career as a veterinarian, as I've wanted to do for as long as I can remember. I have years of experience working with and taking care of dogs and cats from having my own and fosters at home, volunteering with animal shelters and rescues, working with and learning from trainers, and shadowing veterinarians. Through these experiences I've worked with a wide variety of breeds, temperaments, sizes, ages, behaviors, and personalities. I have a lot of experience working with puppies, high energy dogs, stubborn dogs, anxious dogs, dogs who pull or have other 'manners' issues, and reactive/excitable dogs, administering medicine (topical, oral, injections, ocular, etc)

I have known Ash a long time and she has always been an avid animal lover. She has worked with a local rescue since she was 11 and also shadowed my vet. She is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to animal health and also has first hand training experience with dogs of various sizes and temperaments. I would trust her with any and all of my furry family members.
I have known Ashley since she was only 13 years old and she volunteered at my hospital. She is an extremely caring and responsible individual and always gives 100% to any task she takes on. No matter the service or location I can and will follow any instructions left to a tee. Every animal has different needs and every owner has different ways of meeting those needs. I am equipped to handle any of these, whether it be medication, a special diet (raw, kibble, cooked, homemade), senior care, or other special needs. All of it is important and I can assure you that I will take care of your furry family members with the same care and compassion you would and that I do with my own! During walks I can run with your furry family member if needed, I am well versed in using different training tools and types of equipment, I can handle and work with dogs that pull, even larger dogs (the largest I've worked with have been 100-120lb dogs) I will do everything in my power to keep your dog happy, healthy, and safe and tire them out while out and about. In the home I will keep everything tidy and clean up any accidents that may happen, I am trustworthy and will treat you and your home and wishes with respect while taking care of your pet(s) in any way needed or that you see fit.

Availability
I am currently taking a veterinary technician/assistant course at a college and living away from home somewhere that I cannot have pets of my own. Working with Rover is a good way to turn the free time that I would've spent being with my pets if I were still living at home into a way to keep learning about and being involved with the animals I love so much while having the flexibility to pursue my education in the same field.
