Pet care experience
We are a loving couple with a young daughter and three dogs. We enjoy being outdoors and spend much of our time in the garden. Our property features a pond for dog-paddling, a lawn for ball throwing, and many trails for exploring. I am a stay at home mom so I’m able to give around the clock care. We usually go for a walk through the orchards after breakfast and spend most of our day outside, watering the gardens and doing work around the property. We also enjoy an evening stroll before bed. We live on 10 acres and have a perimeter fence as well as a fenced backyard for free play. We have a private, secure dog run if your pup is more comfortable in their own space as well.

Arwen and her family are just lovely people. Our GSD, Lou, stayed with them for almost 5 weeks over the Christmas holidays. Especially as a city dog, she loved being on the farm with all of the animals and running around the property. Arwen and Mike are just the best! You can tell they adore animals and take such good care of them. Lou wasn't eating as much in the beginning and Arwen tried out a few little tricks to get her to eat, which we really appreciated. They were flexible in the drop-off/pick-up schedule and sent lots of photos and updates of our girl. She came back freshly washed and happy :)
Walle had a great time with Arwen’s family! We felt good leaving him with her knowing he would get exercise, fresh air and love. We have a happy and tired pup! Thanks Arwen!

Let us know if your dog has any special needs or unusual behaviors that we can accommodate for. We have many animals around our farm including cows, horses, chickens, and rabbits. Meeting new animals can be exciting and sometimes overwhelming. Exposure is great but some instincts run deep and we want to keep all the animals safe. We have no problem keeping an aggressive dog separate, we just prefer to know ahead of time.
A typical day
We have many interesting activities for your dog around our ranch. Playing ball occurs often throughout day and we go on walks through the orchards and around the pond. We have wild rabbits to chase and a pen full of chickens to sniff and observe.
