Pet care experience
I’ve had experiences with animals for over ten years, having volunteered in dog competitions, working in animal rescue shelters and also spending time with my own pet as well as my friends and family’s house pets! Through my experience, I have met different animals with different temperaments and have done my best to give every animal the love they deserve!

Arwen and our families fury friend, Frankie, have know each other for 3 years now and during this time arwen has provided the upmost love and repect for frankie. As soon as arwen walks through the door frankie jumps up at her and showers her with affection, she resiprocates this love for him, pets him, gives him kisses and then places him on her lap where they continue to bond together. Over the three years the bond and love between the two has only strengthened through the time they have spent together. Arwen feeds, walks and cuddles with frankie when shes with him and frankie himself has attachments to arwen. Arwen is great friend to frankie.
Arwen is my long time friend. She is a kind animal lover and is very organised and responsible. She owns a cat called Suki, so she is already familiar with looking after animals.

Our house is ensured to be very calm and quiet for my cat Sookie, who tends to get a little anxious! I think it’s important to know the characteristics and temperament of each animal as every pet is different! Once I know a bit about the animal, I’ll cater my attention to their needs. For example, if they’re a energetic dog I’ll make sure there’ll be lots of playtime and outside walks! If they’re a timid cat who gets a bit anxious, I’ll be aware not to make too much noise or lots of movement!

A typical day
I love to make sure all pets feel safe and comfortable. I’ll first begin by warming up to the dog/cat, familiarising myself with them and giving them time to make them feel relaxed as possible. From there we can build a friendship filled with cuddles and play as well as potentially learning some new tricks! I go on daily walks myself so I’ve come across scenic routes filled with nature as well as fields for dogs to play and run wild in! For cats, I play with my little cat almost everyday so I typically know how cats work with playtime and how to keep them on their paws!

I’m currently on a long holiday from University as my classes have finished, so I’ll be available all weekdays and weekends at any time to take care of your lovely pet(s)!
