We have two Golden Retrievers: Wanda who we raised from puppyhood for over 5 years, and Kimber, a 12 year old sweetheart who we adopted from a rescue agency. In addition, I've also watched all of my friends' dogs and I absolutely love having more pups in our home. Our dogs are extremely friendly, love to play with others, and adore snuggling if they can. We'll take care of your dogs like they are our own; with kindness, patience, and love. I and my wife are both currently working from home, which makes taking care of dogs much easier for us and more gratifying for your pup. They will not be left alone during the day, will get lots of attention, rubs, and playtime, and we have plenty of room on our property to zoomie outdoors or to snooze indoors. We have a fenced-in yard with plenty of room for dogs to run and play, or even lay in the sun. We love to walk our pups and take them to nearby coffee shops where we enjoy a pastry and a coffee outdoors, or to a beautiful park right across the street with lots of green space to explore. We are open to hosting all age groups and breeds (except GSDs - as our oldest goldie Kimber was rescued from a difficult situation involving GSDs) and both male and female dogs, though we do ask they be neutered or spayed, respectively. We can comfortably accommodate crates, routines, and simple medicine regiments (and have experience getting Wanda through radiation treatments and surgery for tumors she had). Finally, we are a strictly positive reinforcement household. We believe our pets are our family and I would be happy to do meet-and-greets to ensure our pups get along and that you're comfortable with us as your dogs' caretakers!
