Hi, my name is Arshi. I am currently an undergraduate studying Environmental Geoscience at UCL. I love dogs with my whole heart, and having grown up around so many, I really miss their company. I have previously volunteered at a KSPCA in Kenya just to be closer to more dogs, learning how to train and take care of them. Just taking a few doggies out for a walk and taking cute pictures of them would make my day a whole lot better. I believe that each dog requires some special attention throughout the day and being in the park with some other dogs would be perfect for both of us. I absolutely adore Yorkies, Westies, Huskies, Schnauzers and Golden Doodles. Consider your buddy has got the best hands on his/her leash and will experience an enjoyable day out :)

If I am dog sitting I would firstly keep the house nice and tidy, or how it is found. But also make a valuable bond with the dog to trust me back and create an environment where I don't have to struggle with them but leave them in their comfort zone. I would also take them out frequently if they need a poo, or just some fresh air if they are outdoor dogs :) For dog walking, I would make sure they are good with other dogs on meeting them, but also protect them in times of danger. As well as cleaning up after them and leaving them on leash if not trained to be off-leash.

If your dog requires any special care or attention in terms of medical knowledge, please let me know in advance so I can prepare for this. Knowing of any change in normal behaviours would be greatly appreciated too.
A typical day
I love to stimulate dogs both mentally and physically. I would play with them, including with balls and tug ropes or simply just pieces of wood! I would also like to teach them basic commands as well as special tricks! Typical locations for walks include big parks such as Hampstead heath, near the ponds and big fields or highgate woods as well as quaint streets with lots of space.
