Pet care experience
I have been volunteering at the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria since September 2021 where I: • Greet and welcome visitors walking through the kennels • Provide walks to adoptable dogs • Conduct Kennel Etiquette to encourage friendly behavior from the dogs in their kennel • Provide social contact with the dogs in their kennels; and • Provide target training with the dogs using reward-based training methods I took care of a Jindo dog a few years ago and love him with all my heart (parents have since taken him into their home since they are retired)! I took him on regular walks, runs, dog park visits, etc., anything to meet his energy/exercise needs as well as any medical needs such as check-ups.

Top-notch, professional, and affectionate dog care!
Arnan is a great, trustworthy dog sitter. He took time to do a meet and greet and ask questions to get to know our two dogs. Our dogs are larger, so it was nice to know he had experience and was comfortable handling larger breeds. He respected our home and was great in sending updates with pictures of the dogs! Our pups loved him! I highly recommend Arnan for your dog care needs :)
Arnan stayed with our dog for the weekend while we were away. He met our dog a few weeks before staying. He was very attentive and asked all the right questions. He sent photos of our dog while we were away and gave us brief updates. I would highly recommend having Arnan watch your dog and we will definitely book him again!
Arnan has been such a pleasure to work with, he's very thoughtful and sends loads of pictures and flexible with changing travel arrangements. We will definitely use him again.

I try to care for your pets by meeting their energy/social needs. Whether that's low/moderate paced walks or vigorous runs, I try to match their energy in order to provide them with the physical stimulation they need. Additionally, I have experience with positive reinforcement and clicker training to condition dogs towards more positive behaviors. I believe that sufficient physical and mental stimulation, best suited for the particular needs of the dog, leads to a more balanced and calmer dog, and an overall enjoyable experience for both the dog and parent(s).

Availability
On Mondays - Friday, I currently work full-time virtually so I can drop by throughout the morning or afternoon but can come during the evening after 5:45pm for long walks and play time. On Saturday - Sunday, I can drop by or stay at your house to care for your doggy. (Note: My schedule can be flexible and I routinely have every other Friday off, so please don't hesitate to ask me about my schedule.)
