Pet care experience
I started taking care of dogs when I was 12. I've taken care of Huskies, Goldens, German Shepherds, and rescue dogs and cats for family and friends. I also fostered rescue dogs 2020-21 during the pandemic. I understand how sensitive dogs can be to change so it's always a priority to make them feel comfortable, welcomed and loved. In terms of training dogs, I understand that they need consistency and a routine so they can thrive in their daily lives. I love taking dogs on long walks (15-20 minutes in the morning, ~45 minutes at night, so they can take care of their needs and be have fun. When I walk them I keep them active, but also let them sniff around so their minds are stimulated.
Reviews
Very happy with Armando and JP! Very communicative and caring with Ollie. They sent many photos and videos which was great! Highly recommend!!
Armando is the best. I am so grateful to him for taking good care of our cat. He is thoughtful, reliable, and kind.
What a fantastic experience having Armando take care of our pup for a few days! Professional, kept us always up to date, very respectful
Armando - is great! Our pup was worn out and happy after his walks and the detailed notes he wrote made me feel great about knowing my dog was being well cared for

I live in an apartment so I walk my dog in the morning and evening. I usually take them to parks so they can explore around and if they feel comfortable, say hi to friends around, and be active. We have food after our walk and get some treats. Late at night we play at home so we can have the zoomies and relax a bit before bed time. We tried not to have loud noises or lots of stimulation at home so our friends feel safe and comfortable. Also, we love cuddles if our furry friends feel comfortable with it. Otherwise, we let them have company and their own space. Our dog Pete is friendly, so he'll make good company to our new friends.

Information Armando G. would like to know about your pet
- Special needs - Emergency contacts and preferred Vet number - Do's and don'ts that your pet would prefer - Anything I should pay extra attention to? - Their routine - Does your pet follow commands well or are they still learning them? How can I support you reinforce them? - Does your pet like other dog/cats? Any particular size or breed that they might feel insecure with?
A typical day
- We wake up at around 7-8 AM and go for a 20 minutes walk, long enough so our friends can take care of their needs and entertain themselves with the outdoors. - We come back home and have our first meal of the day and we play for a few minutes. - In the afternoon we play with our dog toys where we can chase each other or play hid and seek. - Around 5-7 PM we go on our night walk with lasts for at least 45 minutes. Sometimes we take our dogs to play with other dogs in the park (only if that's okay with the owner and depending if the dog responds to commands). - When we get back home we have our dinner and we play a bit more. - Lastly we enjoy cuddling and petting sessions, and we watch TV before bed time!

Availability
I work from home so I'm able to pay close attention to dogs at home. At home I play with my dog twice a day so they feel loved and entertained. I take my Puggle on generous walks twice a day and adjust to their pace so they can be active and explore all the interesting smells around. We love giving treats but are also aware of different diets.
