I'm a dedicated pet owner with a strong passion for animals. My journey with pets began early in life, growing up on a diverse farm surrounded by various animals. I cherish the experiences and skills I gained in animal care during those formative years. Presently, I'm a proud dog mom to two adorable companions - a Labrador and a Chihuahua. Although I no longer reside on a farm, my roots and upbringing have instilled in me a profound understanding of the needs and quirks of animals. Your pets are cherished family members and I'm here to ensure their well-being and happiness when in my care.

I highly recommend Arlene to watch and care for your pets. My Dorkie, Lucy, loves her. Lucy is a rescue and does not warm up quickly to people…normally! She absolutely loves Arlene. Arlene is very loving, confident, and knowledgeable. Her experience is evident in the way she cares for all animals. I trust Arlene completely with my Lucy! I know you will like her as much as Lucy and I do!
Another wonderful drop in visit from Arlene! She is very attentive to detail about our dog, and has excellent communication skills. I am very happy that we found Arlene on Rover.

When it comes to pet care services, my primary focus is on providing in-home care for your pets. At this time, I do not plan to bring pets into my own home. Once I have had a better history with your pet, then there can be a possibility for daycare outside your home. This is for the safety of all pets involved. I have a fenced area in my backyard, though for the safety of all the pets, they would not be left alone while in that area. On site I also have a very large cage that can fit multiple sized dogs.

I like to know how reactive is your dog. Some are great with dogs but not so much with other animals, this is good to know so I can properly react or distract while on a walk. is the dog child-friendly? Does your dog have areas they do not feel comfortable being touched? (i.e ears, paws, tail).
A typical day
I love to get them physically tired with play. Fun training games and tricks are a great way to get them thinking and build a comfortable bond.

I'm a full-time mom, dedicated to homeschooling my 10-year-old son. We are an amazing team. He is raised with the understanding that pets have boundaries and should be treated with respect.
