I specialize in cats. I love all animals and have had all kinds of pets in my life but cats are where I excel. I can board 1 or 2 cats in my apartment but dogs are against condo bylaws unfortunately. I’m also very happy to come to your home for drop in or overnight visits with cats or dogs. I will only have 2 cats if they come from the same household. I used to train and show horses, lived on ranches and at riding stables with all kinds of cats, dogs and other animals. Growing up our family had cats, dogs, rabbits, Guinea pigs, gerbil, tarantula and other pets. I’m an animal lover and your pet's health and happiness are my top priority. I am mature, responsibility and trustworthy. I have never done this professionally, except for working with horses, but I have looked after many friends' pets over the years. I’ve included some pictures of them. I’ve also included a picture of my old horse, Walter. I currently don’t have any pets. My last cat, Luna, passed away in the spring and I’ve included several pictures of her. My 30 year old horse passed away in 2018. Therefore, I now have room in my heart and my home to help you care for your loved ones. I believe my years of experience with animals helps me to notice unusual behaviors or possible injuries or illness which can be helpful when caring for someone else's loved one. I am willing to go to homes in downtown Calgary, the Beltline or neighbourhoods bordering Crescent Heights for overnight stays or drop in visits. I can take dogs for short walks or to a nearby dog park.
