I had a half Chow half Golden Retriever for 15 years who I considered my best friend. I fed her, walked her, and picked up her poop. I had her even before my younger brother was born so I lovingly referred to her as my younger sister. I had her from the time when I was six years old until I was twenty one years old. I would protect her and she would protect me growing up when I was young going on walks and such. She would protect the entire family. I also babysat and walked my host family in Austin, Texas's German Shepard, fed her, and played with her in the balcony. I often was the only companion and friend she had to play with on account of my host family being busy.
