Pet care experience
I started walking dogs in the neighborhood as a kid and hung up flyers for clients. We were given a neighborhood dog after our neighbors couldn’t care for her anymore and I had been walking her for a while. Through college and after college I started dog/pet sitting via word of mouth for colleagues and their friends. I have either stopped in to walk dogs throughout the day or would stay and house sit allowing pets to stay in their home while their owners are away, including dogs, cats, geese, ducks, watering plants and flowers, and minor cleaning.

Arin was wonderful for our first overnight away from Jazz - he is a person-selective, dog-reactive, blind 2-year old Aussie/Border Collie mix and Arin made him feel safe and comfortable! So happy to have connected with Arin and looking forward to more time with her.
Arin was great at sending pictures while we were away for the weekend, which is always appreciated. She responded quickly always and helped our anxious dog be less so with her caring presence. She left our home spotless and our pet happy!

A typical day
I play with our dogs in the yard with fetch and take them on walks around our neighborhood. We will occasionally visit the lake or a slow/non moving river for them to swim and fetch too.

Availability
I work in office most of the week, with just a few hours of remote work. I can try to rearrange part of my schedule if needed to let out any pets mid-day.
