Pet care experience
I have always had a dog or two to care for in my house and I have cared for friend's dogs while they were out of town. I have also cared for an APD golden retriever ( approx. 120 lb) for an extended period time at my boss’s house. I care for dogs by feeding them, walking them, and cleaning up after them. I am capable of taking extremely good care for dogs and I can spend hours playing and giving them attention. I used to have a diabetic dog therefore I know how to give insulin and feed pills to a dog, if needed. I am fit enough to walk or run long distances and to manage larger, stronger dogs. Arika was very great with staying with out dogs over a long weekend. She was very communicative with me and the dogs seems relaxed and happy when we got home. I would love for her to watch our dogs again!

Depending on the ability of the dog I like to go on long trail walks. Some fun activities would be playing with fetch outside in the yard, going for a run, or just simply taking a nap.

I am a contract/seasonal worker as a marine environmental scientist, so during the off-season (Jan-Mar), I have full availability to take up additional jobs or activities to keep myself busy.
