Excited to take care of your dog :)
Pet care experience
I had a family dog (a mini goldendoodle named Teddy) for 5.5 years, who I still see when I visit my family, and walked dogs alongside my friends in Washington, DC for about a year.
Reviews
Arik does a great job walking my golden doodle. He connects well with him and even though my dog is a little stubborn, he gets him to walk the distance he needs to and will play with him to make it fun. He’s very reliable and my dog loves him!

Skills
Safety, trust & environment
My biggest priority is the dog’s safety and ensuring they are not frightened by anything during their walk. This means paying constant attention and avoiding distractions like always being on my phone.
Information Arik W. would like to know about your pet
Age, energy level, how easily they get distracted on walks, what their interactions with other pets, specifically other dogs is, and with humans. I also would love to know if there are certain parks or streets you feel are best to avoid, and also how frequently per walk they usually go to the bathroom.
A typical day
I love going to a dog park or area where the dog can run around safely, if that’s something you’re comfortable with, and playing fetch or another game to allow the dog to run around and get some exercise. I’ve also found that is helpful in breaking up the walk for them. They’re excited the first half to play, then are more tired and ready to head home in the second half.
Services

Availability
I am typically available to walk dogs on weekends or in the evenings during the week, mainly on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. Thursday and Fridays occasionally work for me.
