I've been helping care for dogs in my family and of friends since I was a child. This includes taking dogs on walks, feeding dogs, bathing dogs, playing with dogs, and etc. I've been dog sitting for a few years now (feeding, walking, overnight stays) and just recently took in an abandoned dog, Charlie. Charlie was abandoned on the highway--thrown from a vehicle. Due to this, I've had experience working with a dog with anxiety and understand some dogs need extra attention and patience. With Charlie, I also have experience with potty training, having to lock up food and trash cans when leaving the house, and keeping doors and screen doors locked or blocked with a baby gate (he's a runner!). I have experience with dogs of all sizes and of different breeds. And I all in all enjoy being around, playing with, and caring for dogs. I love dogs! And I look forward to being able to help anyone else by providing care for their furry baby.
