I grew up always having large-breed dogs in my household. When I was younger, I would dog sit for friends and family, and worked at a dog and cat boarding facility. Currently, I am a registered veterinary technician, and have been working in small animal practices for 3 years. I have experience with all breeds of dogs and cats, am comfortable understanding dog and cat behaviors, and can administer oral and injectable medications if needed. I recently returned from 8 months of traveling in South America, where I volunteered as a technician in a dog+cat vet clinic in the Galapagos Islands for 5 weeks, volunteered at a dog shelter in Peru for one month, and at another dog shelter in Mexico for 2 weeks.
