Hi there! My name is Ariel and I have been a trusted petsitter for almost a decade. When I'm not petsitting, I volunteer and foster with the Milo Foundation. As a result, I have cared for many different sizes and breeds, as well as cats, lizards, chickens, and more! I've started dabbling in some basic training and always make it a point to maintain your pups current process. I am responsive, provide my own cell, ensure you never have to reach out to me first because you're always updated, and share loads of pics! Whether it's your first time using Rover, or your hundredth, my goal is to adapt to you and your pet's needs to ensure you have the best time apart possible. Please reach out with any questions! Ariel was an absolutely outstanding house sitter!! From our first meeting we liked her immediately. She did an amazing job taking care of our dog who's shy around new people. She was very calm and waited for him to warm up to her and they became best friends. She works from home so she was with our dog the whole time. On the weekend she took him for outings to the beach and hiking. She sent lots of picture updates too. We would strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter.

A typical day
I'm a big outdoorsy person and I have a truck for transportation! The world is really our oyster. In the past, I have taken pups to the beach, on long (dog-friendly) hikes, to dog parks - wherever they love and is within their comfort! I have worked with dog-aggressive pups that prefer our 1:1 quality time, so am sure to take them on walks where I'm on alert & scanning blocks ahead to make sure we're comfortable the whole time!

Availability
In addition to Rover, I have a full-time remote job. My schedule varies based on your pet's needs, but a general schedule can look like this: When I'm watching a dog, our morning typically starts by immediately going outside, either in the backyard or for a short walk. Of course, this is confirmed with the pet owners' preference, but we then have breakfast, before going on a longer, more designated walk. If the dog likes to accompany on runs, we will do that! Afterwards, I work from home, taking breaks to play with the dog inside. Around lunch, we both need to stretch our legs and take a shorter walk. Dinner is served at the designated time, and then a longer walk / dog park will happen in the evening. Before bed, one more stop outside, and then the dog can either sleep in their bed in my room or if they're crate-trained, kennel accordingly.
