Pet care experience
I am a responsible, caring individual who loves animals! Growing up in a rural location meant that there were always animals around to care for, and it is still a passion of mine. I have a lot of energy for active dogs or cats, and can quietly hang out with those who are a little more mellow. I live in the Central District near Judkins Park (an ideal setting for delightful dog walks). I typically have more availability on the weekends, and can spend as much or as little time as you request with your pets. I do not have any pets at the moment, but I have been a dogsitter/catsitter for several years, which has included administering medication both orally and in the form of shots, feeding on a schedule, and giving lots of attention to furry family members.

Arianna is amazing. We had never used Rover before but our usual sitter fell through at the 11th hour (literally day before we flew out for vacation) and I had to throw together a Rover profile for our dog, Clyde. We were nervous because leaving your beloved buddy with a complete stranger for a few days is super stressful, but after combing through profiles we found Arianna. Her reviews and return clients made us feel much more secure. Her care was the absolute best- extremely flexible with our drop off and pick up, sent pics everyday, and we could tell she is genuinely a pet person. Best part- her and Clyde have matching Carhartt jackets 😊 What a great first intro to using Rover... we couldn't recommend Arianna more!

Arianna was great and we had a wonderful experience. Ripley seemed very happy on return and we know she has a lot of puppy energy, so very glad it went well. Would definitely recommend Arianna!

I have a calm demeanor, and like to follow your pet's lead when it comes to building rapport (greet them calmly, let them sniff me, talk low and soothing as I go through their routine). Even with very well-trained pets, I tend to avoid other animals on walks. i keep doors closed behind me so adventurous indoor kitties do not try to make their great escape.

A typical day
I can adapt to your pet's personality by making activities routine for energetic furry friends (walk, light jogs, fetch, swimming, etc.) or by being a calming presence for those who require quiet attention, including senior pets and skittish cats. Just let me know your pet's routine and likes/dislikes, and we'll get along just fine! I am conscientious and courteous while in others' homes and would treat your house with respect while tending to your pet(s). I'm happy to bring in mail, water plants, etc as requested while house-sitting
