Hello doggy moms and dads!! My name is Arianna, I’ll be watching over and spending all my time loving and ensuring your dog(s) safety! My fiancé, Alex, will be helping take care of your wonderful dog(s) as well! We both grew up with large pups and now have 2 small sweet dogs of our own and just got an Australian Shepherd puppy! We treat our pups as FAMILY because they are!! We both enjoy meeting new dog breeds and getting to know different dog personalities (each dog has their own and we love getting to know them!). Simply, We are HUGE DOG LOVERS! We would be so thrilled to take care of your pup(s) while you are away! We can't wait to meet you and your pup(s) to ensure a great fit for everyone! ♡WELCOME TO OUR HOME and DOG FAMILY♡ -A little bit about us: We’re a fun loving, education motivated couple that’s crazy about exercise and enriching our dogs lives. We both are pursuing careers in medicine so health is a top priority for ourselves and our dogs! We both love being out doors and enjoy quality time with our little family. We just moved into a new home and we’re excited to meet new people and pups in our community!! We love dogs, probably to much! Haha our dogs are said to be “spoiled” but in reality they spoil us with all their love and cuddles! We have 3 dogs of our own: -Lilly is our little 2 year old Pomeranian that thinks she’s Goliath! She is a sweet little girl but very protective! She is very weary of others at first but once she gets to know you and other dogs she warms up and stops pretending to be so tough. She’s a little feisty one but we love her so much! -Tau, is our little long haired chihuahua, such a little fire cracker he is! He is a sweet little guy but will let you know he’s there. He barks a lot when people or new dogs come into our home, for this reason when people come over we put him upstairs. Haha if he is down stairs for meet and greets we won’t be able to hear one another! He’s a loud boy but is truly loving and just wants all the attention he can get! -Yuna, or Yuna Boon-a as we call her, is our little 10 week old Australian Shepherd puppy! She’s new to our family and is a little love bug! She loves playing with other dogs and has all the puppy energy we need to get our exercise in for the day haha. She’s still learning her way around and we are training her to be on her best behavior but we love watching her grow and explore! DAYCARE/BOARDING: -I am home ALL day, that means your pup(s) will be loved and get plenty of exercise throughout the day! We take our pups out every 2 hours, so your dog will get plenty of time to sniff, explore, and go potty. We start the day with an hour walk each morning! This gets the dogs prepared for the day and ensures that their tummies are ready for breakfast upon return! (Note: I always carry water, a bowl, and treats incase your dog becomes dehydrated or shows signs of low blood sugar. I grew up walking 4 dogs, 2 large and 2 small for multiple years and gained experience on calming and diverting attention in differing situations). ♡SOMEONE IS ALWAYS HOME: -If I have to run errands (grocery shopping), Alex is home and will be with your dog(s) so they are NOT alone. Dogs are not left any longer than 2 hours a day if we both NEED to leave. We love to cuddle our little fur family and would love more! WHAT WE PROVIDE DURING STAY: -Extra leashes are always on hand -Treats (if your dog prefers a certain type, please bring them!) -15 minute training sessions each day. -30 minute-1 hour walk (1-3 walks per day, per owner request) -Toys, toys, and many toys (we have OVER 75 DOG TOYS your pup can play with) -Dog beds throughout the home -Fresh water daily -Daily updates (morning and night) -MANY pictures! (I have a professional camera and love taking pics of pups! It's a hobby of mine, so you will get lots and lots of pictures) -Medicine administration (if your dog requires medication please write down what time they take it and how many times a day) -A LOT of LOVE and PLAYTIME!! NEARBY ACTIVITIES: -We have a dog park near by. If you are comfortable with this, we will take your pup to play and have a good run! I always bring tennis balls and treats. If you are not comfortable with your dogs being at a dog park, please do not worry, it is no problem at all (please tell us how your dog is with other dogs!). TRAINING: -For puppies, we work on basic obedience training to help give your puppy a strong foundation in basic commands (sit, down, stay, heel, and lead walking) -For Adult dogs, we continue to build on their foundation of commands and love teaching new tricks such as paw, roll over, and bang bang as we call it! -If your dog consistently barks and shows aggression, we work with them to alleviate the stress that is causing the problem, redirect them, and teach them to look towards you for safety and security while helping them learn appropriate behavior. -For dogs who pull on leashes, we work on redirecting the dog and having them learn to pay attention to the person at the end of the lead. We want them to learn that pulling doesn’t mean walk, a loose lead means walk. NOTE: While we work on training with your dog, keep in mind that a few days is not always enough time to solidify what they learned. Also, some instincts are ingrained in your dog, especially older dogs. We do our best to help your dog learn appropriate and new behaviors! Training is one of my favorite parts of watching dogs!! You get to see them learn and it’s so exciting!! MEDICATIONS: -Oral administration of any medications -Bandage changes -If your dog has just been spayed or neutered, we take precautions to ensure your dog rests and isn’t too active to prevent tearing or stress on the incision site. Please let us know how many days it has been since surgery and vet recommendations on care. ♡HOME SWEET HOME: -We live in a 1900 sq ft home (currently finishing renovations) which gives your pup plenty of room to run around! They are allowed on all of our furniture (unless you are training them to stay off yours!) for maximum snuggles and so they feel at home as best as they can. We also have a large yard (the lot next to us was bought to fence and let the pups have a large area to run around in!), a fence is being installed at the end of summer! Please let us know of any dog aggression as we do not want any dogs to hurt one another. We prefer dog friendly pups!! BUT, if your pup shows any sort of aggressive behavior, we have 1 room that is dedicated for them. Don’t worry though, they do not stay in this room during the day (we watch them consistently) but at night, they are in a room of their own to prevent an “OMG! WE NEED A VET” moment. There will be a doggy bed in the room with their food and water, as well as toys. We want to keep your dog SAFE and HAPPY as well as all the other dogs here! Also, please let us know of any food aggression so we can work on that and feed dogs separately to prevent any mishaps! DOG SIZES: -We are currently accepting SMALL sized dogs ONLY. All puppies are welcome, as long as they are on the smaller side. During the night, puppies are kept separate from all other dogs and sleep with us in our room in a play pen. Puppies are little guys and girls that still stumble on their own feet (such cuties!) so we want to keep them safe! Smaller adult dogs are welcome on our bed at night! We love extra cuddles!! We love all dogs, but our first priority is the safety and well-being of your pup! YOUR PET IS OUR FAMILY!! We treat our dogs as family and your pup(s) is/are no different! We have no problem with any special instructions you request for your pup. Also, I know how nerve-racking it can be to leave your little family member with someone else. You can reach me anytime and please let me know if you have any concerns or questions while you are away, you will not bother me!! I’m a dog mom that always texts my dog sitter when I leave, so I completely understand. I send daily updates, pictures, and videos so you get to see how your pup is doing day to day (if you do not need or want this, feel free to let me know or what you prefer). We prefer a meet and greet to ensure that it's a perfect fit for both you, your furry friend, and us! WE CAN’T WAIT TO LOVE EM!
