If there's anything any of my friends could say about me and my thoughts on dogs, it would be that, if I could, I would absolutely try to own and care for every dog in the world. While I may not have any professional experience, I have 15+ years of experiences owning and loving 3 dogs (1 of which is still with me). We adopted my first dog (a Beagle Terrier Mix) although she already had some pre-existing illness. Through my experience with her, I learned how to provide the best care and love possible for a dog who did not have a long life expectancy. My second dog was a fireball of a dog, a Cavelier King Charles Spaniel. He had endless amount of energy and would bark until he couldn't bark anymore. Through him I learned how great patience for rambunctious dogs and gave me the patience needed to leash train a fiery dog such as him. Lastly, we found my current dog (a pure bred Shih Tsu) literally on the street, seconds away from getting run over by an MTA bus. He is extremely docile and scared of just about everything. He spends most of his time with me and I often refer to him as my son. He is my fur precious baby (although he is 8 years old now, ha!) My years of experience with these different types of dogs has taught me so much about dog care, and the love one can have for their pet! I absolutely adore dogs and would love to spread that love and adoration to your dog!
